Two things for non-profits:

  • Earn $100 for your organization by working a water stop along the routes of the Sunburst Race on May 31, 2008. All it takes is ten volunteers, and your organization will be noted in the South Bend Tribune following the event. Email sunburst@memorialsb.org for more details.
  • Earn money for your organization by working a Silverhawks concession stand. Information is available here.

This year's Philanthropy Summit will be held at the Century Center in South Bend on Tuesday, May 6th. Exact times and details to be announced soon.

The event will feature a luncheon with a guest speaker and a non-profit expo. Last year's event saw over 400 people come together from the non-profit and for-profit sectors. This year's theme, corporate volunteerism, will once again draw together both sectors in an opportunity to learn, network, and build new partnerships.

Details on how you can be involved as a sponsor, a non-profit, or an attendee will be available soon. Be watching the blog for more details.
